Our generation is getting back to basics for our health. We are eating better, getting more sleep, drinking more water. We also want natural remedies for our health care as much as possible.
Here are a few things you can use to take the place of OTC meds.
Lavendar Essential Oil – This is probably my favorite of all the oils. I love the way smells. However did you know that Lavendar is great for your skin? Consider using this instead of the following. After Sun Lotion, Alleve, Alluna, Carmex, Destin, Ear drops, Midol, Motrin, Neosporin, Solarcaine, Tylenol PM. It soothes skin, helps promote sleep, great for the nervous system,
Lemon Essential Oil – This is an excellent oil for many things. One of my favorite is to add some to water and use it as a disinfectant. Want to replace some things in your medicine cabinet with this? Try Lemon Essential Oil instead of Allegra, make a hand sanitizer, children’s Tylenol, Chloraseptic, Dexatrim, Halls, Imodium AD, Monistat, Prevacid, Prilosec OTC, Tinactin, Tylenol, SAM-e, Zyrtec.
Melaleuca – This is another all time favorite of mine. I use this for everything, from acne, skin infections, even on my toothbrush. Now you can replace the following in your cabinet. AD Creme, Abreva, Blistex, Calamine Lotion, Destin, Head and Shoulders, Hydrocortisone cream, Natural Antibiotic, Monistat, Neopsporian, Lamisil, Lice Shampoo, Selsun Blue, Lotrimin, Tinactin.
Check out these 3 oils. Read up on them, order some, get to know them. Next week I will tell you about Oregano, Frankincense and a few others.
